Plumbers..?
I may have a job soon as a Plumber, but are there any Plumbers/Gas engineers out there that recommend the job, as in can you make money and what's the best type of plumbing to do for your health (knees and stuff)?

- As a contractor who does quite a bit of plumbing, I can say that any of the building trades will take a toll on your body over time so start by finding an over the counter pain reliever that works and stock up! As for making money, The more experience you have, the more money you can make but get ready for some long hours and very hard work, good luck to ya, Ed
- I started in the building trade when I left School to learn a trade then was seen as an inferior option but if you think now there is a shortage of tradesmen. I say good for you go for it you will never loose skills taught if you work hard enough, if you switch careers you will have the skill to look after your own property. all jobs only make money if you put the required effort in
- I've been plumbing for about 8 years now and i'm trying to get everyone I know to start plumbing. The money potential is outrageous. I have a friend who works for NASA after 6 years of college and I make twice the amount of money that he does and I quit college after 2 years. Be ready to be a ditch digger for a while tho. since you wont know anything youre probably going to be the hard laborer. We all went thru it and there will be days when you want to quit but just remember the guy on the computer that said he makes more than his NASA buddy!
- If you are asking plumbers to recommend the job its quite plain to see that you have not really thought this through. Get a job in an office then you can go around asking all the people in the office for their advice.
- GET BACK ON DOLE AND STAND UPRIGHT
- be like me i am a gas fitter for 21 years and made a mint got 5 houses 3 vans 2 cars and 35 blokes working for me it was hard a frist but hang on in there
