How much should gutters on a house cost?

We are in the process of getting quotes for new gutters for our house. We want to get the leaf guard covering or something similiar to that. The area is 122 ft. How much should this cost? We got one estimated for $9,000 which seems to be way way way to expensive. I was thinking more along the lines of $2,000. What do you think?

1. I just had aluminum gutters installed on my house and detached garage. The house is 1100 square feet and the garage is 800 square feet. The cost was $1600 without the leaf guard. This was $4 a foot for gutter and downspouts plus $15 per corner. $9000 is way too much.
